from Glory to glory

2 Corinthians 3:18 AMP “And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.”

HELLO 2025!!!! Y’all I know I am an entire 13 days late but you knowwww, life be life-ingggg you hear meee!!!! Not in a bad way but like y’all I’ve been busyyy for real. Between traveling and getting my life right before this spring semesterrr, likeee yeahhh, I been busy. I have so many goals and visions for this year, and I am so excited and ready to see how God will continue to guide me through it all. I have high expectations! Y’all know what is hitting me like extra hard already this year though? The fact that imma be A WHOLE 20 YEARS OLD…. Y’ALL like whattt?? I know it might not seem like much to some, but honestly, it’s starting to sink in. Your 20s are prime time—college graduation, fall in love, starting your career, getting married, buying a house, paying REAL bills, having kids… the list goes on. Can we say GROWN?? But y’all I feel so good going into this year. The Lord has downloaded so much to me already, I just have no words! THIS WILL BE THE YEAR OF GRACE UPON GRACE!!!!

The Lord began to download into me right before Christmas to really be intentional about what I wanted out of 2025. I really thought about it and for weeks I could not point out specific goals I wanted to achieve in 2025. Each year, my family and I ask the Lord to give us our word for the following year and the Lord had already given me my word back in October at a conference my brother and I went to, I just could not figure out specific goals I wanted to achieve this year. I went into my notes and created something I could print out and put in my room so I could remind myself daily. I began to ask the Lord to help me and make it specifically clear what my assignment for 2025 was. I want the Lord to guide my steps. I began to pray for clarity and sound mind with no distractions. I thought of the movie The Forge when Mr. Moore asked Isaiah 3 questions:

1.) What ways do want to grow?

2.) What do you want people to think when they see you coming?

3.) What kind of man/woman do you want to be?

These questions sparked my brainstorming, and I took the time to journal my thoughts. Through this process, I gained a clearer understanding of the woman I want to challenge myself to become this year. Growth requires stepping out of your comfort zone, and I’m ready to embrace that challenge.

My overall goal of 2025 is exactly what 2 Corinthians 3:18 says. Which is to have the veil removed so I can see and reflect the Glory of the Lord. This unveiled face speaks of a mind uncovered, not blinded, but disposed to perceive the glorious splendor of Christ. The Glory of God referring to the combined nature of God, in all of His attributes. It is a remarkable promise. Not only are those in Christ finally freed to see God’s glory, but they begin to become God’s glory as they begin to become like Christ. All distractions out of the way. When I look at myself in the mirror daily before my day starts, I want to see the Glory of the Lord. But peep this. In order to see the glory, you must be in the Glory. You can’t go from Glory to Glory without first being in the Glory. As Paul says that as we are beholding the glory of the Lord, we are being transformed into the same image, the image of Christ! As we see His glory in the word of God, we become more like Him. The Holy Spirit changes us into the likeness of Christ. This leads me into my topic of being intentional. We must be intentional in being in the Glory of God.

Our God is plenteous in mercy. Every time that we come to Him with the same sin that we said last time, “Lord please forgive me I won’t do it again” yet we’re back at square one asking for forgiveness. Plenteous is more than enough, and when you think He has ran out, He still has more! His mercies are NEW EVERY MORNING. He can afford new mercy because He is plenteous. Plenteous in mercy is just one attribute of God. Everybody has a favorite attribute of God. I challenge you to go through the alphabet and describe the attributes of God. (EX: amazing, beautiful, carus, defender, executer, etc.)

To HE along my spirit will yield. Let your spirit man free! Our bodies and souls might be distracted by the world, but when you let your spirit man yield to it’s creator, the Spirit of God, that spirit man that lives inside of you will start to dance, rejoice, and yield itself to something that is above the ordinary. For you to go Glory to Glory, your spirit man cannot yield to the things of this world. Our spirit man has to bow to the Lord alone. At His name, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess.

Some people say they’re going from glory to glory, but they haven’t even accessed it yet. And that’s why you might feel the goosebumps or weight of the room at church, but not at home—it’s because you’re feeling the peripheral glory—the glory bouncing off of others. You’re not in it yourself.

But let me tell you, the glory isn’t just in the miracles or the signs and wonders. Moses, in Exodus 33, saw many miracles—parting of the Red Sea, manna from heaven, a burning bush—but still asked to see God’s glory. And God, in His mercy, allowed Moses to see just a glimpse, the remnant of His glory. If you want to feel the weight of His presence, you need to go beyond peripheral glory and press into personal glory. Don’t settle for just feeling it through someone else—enter into it yourself. (By letting yourself fully surrender to the Lord)

So when you may have asked the Lord, “how can I feel the goose bumps or weight of the room at church but not at home” it is because you are feeling what is bouncing off of someone else, the atmosphere of the men and women of God, where 2 or 3 are gathered in His name. He is in the midst of them to bless. You may ask “well Victoria is that not good?” Let me tell you, I rather be there in the midst of people who are calling on the name of the Lord because where the Spirit and presence of the Lord is, THERE IS FREEDOM!!!!

The Hebrew word for God’s glory is Kabod, which means weight, strength, and honor. Have you ever felt the weight of God’s glory, where you just fall on your knees in awe? That’s the Kabod, and it’s not a heaviness that burdens you, but a freedom that comes when you yield to His presence. In the Bible, Kabod is often translated as “Glory” and is associated with God’s divinity, works, name, and sanctuary. There’s also the Greek word Doxa, which refers to the manifestation, the visible display of God’s glory. Sometimes we can get distracted by the visible manifestations—the miracles and wonders—and forget the importance of experiencing His glory in its fullness.

LET THE DECLARATION OF GOD BE IN OUR MOUTHS- IT IS TIME THAT WHAT WE SAY OUT OF OUR MOUTHS LINE UP WITH WHAT HE SAID IN THE WORD OF GOD.

So we are supposed to be going from Glory to Glory to Glory. You could have at some point BEEN in the Glory of God, BUT are you LIVING there? Like I stated before if you are wanting to go Glory to Glory, you must FIRST be in the Glory. In order to access the Glory, you have to go up higher. It’s like you say you are going to the gym, but just go to stretch. In order for you to notice a difference you must go through the hard part, them first few weeks of soreness to see the results you want to see. You can’t just say I went to the gym. You can’t go to church and sit in the back just to say you went to church. In order to say you went to church, it’s not the building, it’s the gathering of the body. The unjust being made perfect. It’s where the sons and daughters gather to lift the name of the Lord. You can’t take one step and expect to go to the next, you have to take the next step to get a little closer. Then the next step, you feel something that is heavy and makes you feel a way you can’t describe, but you just know something is different in the atmosphere. Then you know you have reached the Glory of the Lord! WELCOME TO THE GLORY!!!! But listen, we can’t just be comfortable and okay with staying there. Where you’re at, and you feeling what you’re feeling is the Glory, but the bible says to continue to go higher.

God says we are supposed to be going Glory to Glory so that means every time you look in the mirror you’re going to see something changing. When you look in the mirror as you are progressively being transformed into His image, you won’t physically see someone else, unless you are becoming someone else. Meaning, you coulddd physically start to see change. Let me explain. You ever seen someones before and after they were saved pictures? Sometimes you can seriously tell the Lord had entered their lies. They aged backwards! So yes sometimes it can be a physical manifestation of what the Glory of the Lord does in a persons life.

Everyday we are changing more and more. So here’s the challenge: don’t just visit the glory, live in it. (He inhabits the praises of His people) You can’t just go to church and sit in the back and say you’ve been to church. It’s about being intentional—taking the steps to draw closer to God and living in His glory every single day. Don’t stop at just feeling it; press forward to live it out, to be transformed into His image. And as you do, you’ll go from Glory to Glory, from one level of transformation to the next.

2025 is here, and I’m ready to go higher. I’m ready to be intentional, to let His glory change me. I pray that as I go from glory to glory, you will too. So let’s step into this year with purpose, with anticipation, and with hearts open to the glory of the Lord. Welcome to the glory, y’all! Let’s go higher together!
