create space.

Let me ask you a question, what are you contemplating changing in your life right now? Whether it be something small or big, it won’t happen unless you focus your time and effort to it. You have to go through a process to bring it about. You have to CREATE THE SPACE, the atmosphere, and/or the environment for it to happen in. In order for God to change your life, your atmosphere, or your environment you must create a space for Him to move in. This process is not always a easy process.

Creating space is being in the secret place with the Father. It is illuminating all distractions and pushing into the heavenly realm– we must make room for the vision by detoxing the distractions. These distractions can be relationships, sports, social media, overly working/being busy just to be busy, etc. Creating space may even mean sacrificing that thing that means the most to you. You have to work for this intimate time. As Isaiah 32:17 says “The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.” It is the work that brings forth the peace and quietness forever. However much you put in will be how much you will receive. If you put 50% in you’ll get 50% perfect out, put if you give 100%, all that you have, watch it fold out and benefit you more than you thought it would! The work of righteousness to stay in the presence of God is not always easy, remember we are still flesh. Hints why the Bible says we must deny yourself and die to your flesh daily. Sanctification is a daily process! When we die to our flesh, we are dying only to what would destroy us, things like “sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness” (Colossians 3:5). That kind of dying is worth dying every day (1 Corinthians 15:31). Galatians 5:24-25 tells us that “those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh”— it’s done! Now that sin is no longer in control, we can obey the command to “keep in step with the Spirit.” To remain aligned with the Father. Before our flesh was crucified with Christ, our sinful responses came automatically. The harder you push to be in the presence of God, the harder the enemy pushes to distract you. Creating space is opening the door to blessings and the enemy knows that. Most importantly you have to want this freedom and peace you experience while being in the presence of God. If you are trying to seek after God for someone else, you won’t have that yearning or fire to want it. You’ll be doing it for the wrong reasons and you’ll end up getting burnt out.

What is holding you back from FULL intimacy with the Father? Put a finger on the specific block. Is it un-forgiveness, addiction, stress, not fully trusting God, friends, relationships, atmosphere/environment, fear, etc.? All of these things cannot keep you held back. Each and every one of us were created for a purpose. We have an identity in the Father resulting us with a divine assignment to complete while we are here on earth. Your divine assignment is a God given (it’s not something you choose, but a calling or purpose bestowed upon you by God) task that comes with an inherent burden (fulfilling your divine assignment comes with a weight of responsibility and challenges that need to be faced) and divinely given ability (you are equipped with the necessary skills and talents to tackle the problems associated with your assignment, granted by God) to solve problems that yield eternal value (the impact of your actions within your divine assignment extends beyond this life, contributing to a greater good). Matthew 25:23 says “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord”. According to James 4:14, we should actively seek to understand and fulfill our God-given purpose (“assignment”) as soon as we become Christians (“born again”) so that we can make the most of our limited time on earth. God saved you to fulfill a particular assignment for Him, and that assignment is time bound. You must work the works of him that sent you, while it is day, a time will come when you can no longer work (John 9:4). Ideas for your divine assignment come from the wisdom of God and not the philosophies and ideas of man, it is not copied or necessarily inherited or learned talent. Seek God and ask Him to show you your spiritual gifts. Study His word prayerfully. Walking in your God-given assignment is where you will find the ultimate spiritual satisfaction and fulfillment.

Let us repent, making the decision to return to our first love, rearranging our thinking to allow for a transformation, committing to his ways. Let us renew ourselves, because new creatures, replacing the old, becoming better, transforming our minds, dusting off the gifting, putting into action what God placed has within us. Let us revive ourselves, let spiritual awakening from a state of slumber and coldness and stagnation come forth. Let us be restored from a depressed inactive, unused state, bringing back to life that which lies lifeless because of the distractions of life.

Be encouraged today, we are all in this together!!!! All pushing for MORE of Kingdom + MORE of God! ♡
